I was raised in southeastern Connecticut, and later moved to New York to attend Adelphi University where I received a BFA in dance.  I found that a balanced lifestyle can be supported through the positive well-being, fitness and food choice

As a ballroom instructor, I learned I was not just teaching dance skills, but I was truly educating people on how to express themselves through movement and interpretation.  I became inspired when watching my students take a simple act of movement and turn it into a creative art piece. A piece that promotes individuality and balance. Dieting and fitness are components of establishing a healthy lifestyle but they are not the boundaries of it.  Body type, stress management, social interactions and eating habits can all change the way your body responds to finding its balance.

I studied various dietary theories, and became a board certified Health Coach, a member of The American Association of Drugless Practioners through Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I continued my career as an Egoscue Postural Alignment Specialist and received my Reiki Level II certification. I practice what I preach and by applying these theories into my own diet, I learned what foods work best for my body. Over the years, I have made real life changes and brought more and more balance to my life. For example, dietary changes lead to my recovery from chronic sinus infections, something I had struggled with since childhood. 

In our busy society, we need more health programs that encourage self-love and that help us to discover or uncover underlying health issues that may not be obvious with routine doctor visits and self-diagnosis.  I believe that we can attain a more fulfilling life by working through our personal challenges, by building a strong support system and by stepping into the life that we envision for ourselves.  Many times what we strive for is right in front of us, we just need the support in getting there.

By combining my passion for dance, postural alignment and health coaching, I have cultivated a unique program that will ultimately guide your self-discovery and awareness.  I can assist you in all areas of your life.
